Ana Isabel Castañeda practises in the Litigation, Arbitration and Corporate departments at Mirlo Legal.
A practising lawyer in Venezuela and a law graduate in Spain, she has an international professional background developed at multidisciplinary firms in Spain, Peru and Venezuela. Throughout her career she has advised and represented private companies and public entities on corporate, regulatory, administrative and public procurement law, as well as civil and commercial litigation. She previously worked advising and representing banking and insurance sector entities in Venezuela, participating in credit recovery proceedings, enforcement actions and litigation related to financial transactions.
Her experience includes the preparation of litigation strategies, the management of civil and commercial disputes, participation in arbitral proceedings — particularly in the context of public procurement in Peru — and advice on corporate and regulatory matters.
