Alfonso Carrillo is a founding partner at Mirlo, where he heads the Litigation and Insolvency department and leads the Arbitration practice.

A lawyer since 2005, he has over twenty years of experience, having spent more than fifteen years at national and international firms in Madrid, seven of them as a partner leading the Litigation and Insolvency area. Previously, he was a partner at Bird & Bird and at Broseta Abogados.

Alfonso specialises in resolving complex disputes, particularly those involving insolvency situations or high-stakes commercial conflicts. He has extensive experience in commercial, real estate, construction, banking, sports and insolvency litigation. In the field of arbitration, he has acted as party counsel, arbitrator and tribunal secretary, serving as an arbitrator in various national courts such as the CAM, CIMA, CEA, LaLiga's Football Arbitration Tribunal and the Spanish Sports Arbitration Court of the Spanish Olympic Committee.

Jorge Perujo is a founding partner at Mirlo, where he heads the Corporate Law department and leads the M&A practice. Jorge started practicing in 2009 at Alantra, before joining Ontier. At Ontier, he became partner in the Corporate and M&A department, was the Country Manager for Chile, before ascending to Regional South America Manager.

Jorge focuses his practice in advising global companies on corporate matters, both in Spain and Latin America, particularly in relation to international contracts and M&A transactions. He has extensive experience in the industrial, services and construction sectors.

Fernando López is a partner at Mirlo, where he heads the Tax Law department.

Fernando started practicing law in 2009 in Montero Aramburu Abogados, and he later worked at Ontier, Eversheds Sutherland, and Ayuela Jiménez Abogados, where he became partner. He focuses his practice in high-net-worth individuals, domestic and international corporate groups, and family-owned businesses on tax planning, succession, corporate restructurings, and real estate taxation.

Fernando also represents clients in tax audits and disputes before the tax authorities, including administrative and judicial appeals. He speaks Spanish and English.

Ana Isabel Castañeda is a member of Mirlo’s Litigation and Arbitration team as well as the Corporate team.

Ana Isabel is a practicing lawyer in Venezuela and a law graduate in Spain. She brings an international and multidisciplinary background gained at law firms in Spain, Peru and Venezuela. She has advised and represented private companies and public-sector entities on corporate, regulatory, administrative and public procurement matters, as well as in civil and commercial disputes. In Venezuela, she also advised banks and insurance companies on debt recovery proceedings and financial litigation.

Her experience encompasses litigation strategy, international arbitration—particularly in connection with public procurement matters in Peru—and corporate and regulatory advisory work.

Javier Zambudio is an Of Counsel lawyer at Mirlo, where he practices in the Criminal Law and Litigation departments.

Javier started practicing in 2010, after preparing for the competitive examinations for entry into the judiciary and public prosecution service and has more than sixteen years of professional experience at law firms in Murcia, Alicante and Madrid. He has also founded and led his own legal practice in each of these cities.

He specializes in representing and defending clients in white-collar and financial crime proceedings, as well as in resolving civil and contractual disputes, including family law matters. He also has extensive experience in banking litigation and has successfully represented clients before Spain’s highest courts and the Court of Justice of the European Union in Luxembourg.

Rosina Muller collaborates with Mirlo as a renewable energy and energy sector expert.

Rosina Müller is a founding partner of Red Nest, a boutique firm through which she advises international firms and companies on energy and infrastructure projects across Europe, Latin America and the United States.

She has led legal teams and participated in complex asset acquisition and development transactions, as well as in the structuring and negotiation of key contracts across the full project lifecycle in the energy sector (including solar, wind, storage, hydrogen and biomethane) and infrastructure. Her practice combines Civil Law and Common Law perspectives, enabling her to advise in complex international environments.

David is the CEO of Fenix IP, where he has spent several years providing services as an expert in intellectual and industrial property and data protection.

David and Mirlo have agreed a strategic alliance to provide high-level services in these areas. A lawyer since 2019, he began his career at PONS IP, and subsequently led the Intellectual and Industrial Property department at Martínez-Echevarría.

David specialises in complex intellectual and industrial property matters, such as intangible asset internationalisation strategies and complex litigation, as well as in complex privacy projects, including full GDPR compliance for companies handling sensitive data such as health data, or involving international data transfers.

Daniel García is part of the Corporate and M&A team at Mirlo. He began his career as a lawyer in 2018, at the Mexican Stock Exchange and subsequently joined, in two stages, the Corporate, Banking & Finance and Capital Markets areas at Kuri Breña, Sánchez Ugarte y Aznar.

He was also part of the legal department of Coca-Cola FEMSA, where he worked on matters relating to finance and capital markets.

Daniel focuses his practice on corporate law, finance, capital markets, and mergers and acquisitions. Throughout his career he has participated in structured financing transactions, securities issuances in the capital markets, and M&A deals, advising clients across a range of sectors.

Luis Fernando López is a Senior Lawyer at Mirlo, focusing his practice on advising corporate clients from Chile and Latin America from the Madrid office, providing tailored legal solutions and strategies for their activities in Europe.

A practising lawyer since 2015, he began his career at Guzmán & Cía. and subsequently joined Allende Bascuñán & Cía., both in Santiago de Chile. He later joined AES Andes and Verano Energy as Senior Legal Counsel, both companies in the electric energy sector.

Luis Fernando specialises in advising on Business Development (BD) and Engineering & Construction (E&C) for global companies, mainly in the energy, water resources and agro-industry sectors, as well as on contractual and regulatory matters.
