Alfonso Carrillo takes part in the FIFA Football Law Annual Review
Alfonso Carrillo's participation in the FIFA Football Law Annual Review, one of the leading international gatherings dedicated to football law.
Alfonso Carrillo attended the FIFA Football Law Annual Review (FLAR) 2026, an international event organised by FIFA that brings together each year some of the foremost specialists, arbitrators, academics, and legal officers from federations, clubs and sports bodies around the world.
Since its creation in 2019, the FIFA Football Law Annual Review has established itself as one of the benchmark forums for analysing the main regulatory developments, decisions of FIFA's judicial bodies, and case law of the Court of Arbitration for Sport (TAS/CAS), bringing together sports law professionals from federations, leagues, clubs, law firms and international organisations.
This year's edition provided an opportunity to address some of the most significant legal issues facing the football industry, including the implications of recent rulings by the Court of Justice of the European Union in sporting matters, developments in the international regulation of transfers, disciplinary and anti-doping proceedings, and the leading cases resolved by the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
The event featured the participation of prominent international experts, FIFA representatives, CAS arbitrators, legal officers from confederations and national federations, as well as academics and professionals specialising in arbitration and sports law.
Attending events of this kind makes it possible to gain first-hand insight into the regulatory and case-law trends shaping the future of professional sport, and reinforces MIRLO's commitment to continuing education and to specialisation in international arbitration and sports law.
